Implementation

The Institute, state veterinarians, Feed manufacturers and retailers, and Extension faculty and staff across the nation have recently entered the second year of a proposed five-year multi-state Animal Health Network adoption and diffusion process.  This process allows these state partners who have committed to adopt the Animal Health Network concept to autonomously determine how many and which counties will be targeted to adopt each year.  We currently have commitments from 21 states, only one of which has established the Animal Health Network in all counties.
